These two Christmas trees were made with recycled bottles. Quite an efficient use for all those empties! The one of the left was made with 1050 beer bottles by Paul Deakin, a student at the University of Southampton (the south coast of England). The tree on the right was made with Grolsch beer bottles. Anyone feeling inspired to knock a few back, instead of heading out to the tree farm?

There is only one criticism I have for your articles and blogs: they are mpot written for less educated or second language English speakers. I am going to rewrite everything for my students, who are elementary and middle school students in China. I believe we need to get the word out, and it must be understood or it does nothing. I will also add more colorful pictures to make it attractive to children. Tell me if you do not like this idea. I need your premission to rewrite everything, or I will have to do original research and add in the citations. What do you think?
These aren’t made from recycled materials. Recycling is a transformation of the original material. These “trees” are made from re-purposed containers. Do you know of anyone that makes an artificial christmas tree from recycled plastic?
