Wally – there is one and only one reason why you don’t see solar on every roof – grid power is cheaper. When we all start charging electric car batteries and the demand/price of grid power increases everyone will want PV – then the economy of scale will bring down the relative price. And we will all be thankful that someone has been bothering to do this research.

i think its all a money making scam, I’ve been reading for years about the latest breakthroughs in solar technology, and have yet to see one on someones roof – i think it’s all about getting government or private investments – just look at nanosolar, where are their mass produced panels !

Man, I wish this and nanosolar would get this stuff out. In texas we have tons of solar, and it could be great if this stuff gets to market.
