Chapel Hill had the highest bus utilization in the state, and made the plunge to free buses.

It allows new habits to be formed. Downtown parking is better, people walk to jobs– and when it it hot/cold/raining can take the bus.

Live in a progressive town like Chapel Hill, work for a progressive company (like Chapel Hill headquartered USAT Corp.), ditch the car, and get you life back while allowing the future to still have a planet.
